Hello! Great job setting up your PC. Once Windows is installed, you’ll need to install additional drivers depending on your hardware. Check your PC manufacturer’s website or the manufacturer’s support page for the correct driver list. Let me know if you need help finding them!
Well Winblows 10 will install an old version of the nVidia display driver. Once your Windows setup is complete, use DDU Display Driver Unisntaller, clean it up, restart, and then switch back to normal mode. After that, install the 441.xx drivers and everything should work smoothly.
Do you have a reason to update BIOS ? What do you want to get out of doing it. I urge you not to do it and you can crap out your system and feel like sh*T on why you did it. Unless there is a problem don't do BIOS upgrades... Once again if its life and death then do the BIOS update but if nothing is wrong with your sytsem why risk it ya know.
In addition to your graphics driver, you must also install the chipset and onboard audio drivers. Both can be found on your motherboard’s website.
Windows 10 typically updates most recent drivers automatically. If you encounter problems or notice missing components, you can locate the latest drivers on the manufacturer's support website for that part or device.
Windows provides all the necessary drivers unless the hardware maker refuses to share them with Microsoft. Most do, but some companies, such as Creative Labs, don’t. Use Device Manager to check for missing drivers—you’ll see a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark next to the missing item. The term "Generic" indicates drivers that use generic OS versions instead of official ones. Updating these can improve performance or functionality. Typically, drivers are the latest available, except for graphics cards which are frequently updated with new games. Microsoft tests drivers before release, so there’s a gap until Windows Update provides the newest version. For the latest drivers, visit Nvidia or AMD websites directly; no prior steps are needed—just install the appropriate ones. It’s wise to choose advanced settings and select only the drivers you need, like GeForce Experience or Nvidia 3D Vision, while skipping others to maintain system cleanliness. Remember, audio drivers for your graphics card should still be installed.
