You're dealing with a complex setup issue involving graphics cards, drivers, and system stability. It seems the problem might stem from driver conflicts or hardware incompatibilities. The fact that your own GPU works but the original one doesn't suggests a possible driver mismatch or conflict. Trying to boot in safe mode could indicate driver corruption or instability. Rolling back drivers temporarily fixed the issue, which is a common workaround. The BIOS flash attempt didn't help, possibly pointing to outdated or corrupted firmware. The PCIe riser cable could be another factor, especially if the NZXT H1 setup has known issues with 30-series cards. Consider testing a different GPU or checking for BIOS updates specific to your motherboard model. If the problem persists, a hardware inspection or professional support might be necessary.

The GPU functions properly on your own motherboard but not on your friends' one, indicating a problem with their hardware.

Could something have gone wrong that would ruin the device? The system is relatively new, having been purchased recently. Until recently, it was running smoothly. The motherboard in question is an MSI MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI.
