Omitting this can cause MoCA signals to leak into other parts of the system, leading to interference and performance issues. Vodafone may be willing to assist if you request it. Install a MoCA Filter before your cable boxes and internet modem for optimal performance. Newer devices often include built-in filters, but older ones or damaged coax cables can cause latency and reduced speeds due to error correction. Splitters must match the frequencies MoCA uses; mismatched ones degrade signal quality. Verify that MoCA isn’t already active in your Vodafone router. Some cable modems have extra MoCA components for home networking, but connecting a router and MoCA adapter in a loop can create unintended routing problems.
