Hello, I recently installed a new PC and have been experiencing high ping in certain games after it started up. Previously, I had around 5 ping on my local servers in CSGO and Dota2, but now each server shows about +30 ping. Some servers are now completely unusable since my ping has jumped to roughly 100 from the usual 60-65. On my old system, ping was normal, but I began encountering 100% packet loss (possibly due to the patch cable or port issue from a three-year-old system). I replaced the patch cable and nothing changed. I purchased a TP-Link 300Mbps USB Adapter (TL-WN823N) which provided a stable ping of 60-65. Since I also have Wi-Fi on my motherboard, I tried connecting both wired and wireless, but the ping problem persisted. I changed the router port and updated the cable, yet the issue remains. No adjustments were made to network settings on either system. The router firmware is TP Link Archer A6 v2 (currently at v1.1.5, pending update to v1.1.7).
My old setup included an i3-7100+ Hyper H410R Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2 with the latest BIOS, paired with two HyperX Fury 8GB 2400Mhz GPUs, an Asus Phoenix GTX 1050 Ti, Antec EAG Pro 750W with SSD, plus extra drives and Windows 10 Pro.
My new system features a Ryzen 7 5800x+ML360L v2, MSI MPG B550 Gaming Carbon Wi-Fi, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8GB 3600Mhz, two Asus Phoenix GTX 1050 Ti, Antec EAG Pro 750W with SSD, plus extra drives and Windows 10 Pro.
