Essentially my computer wouldn't start at all and displayed nothing. I disassembled it and tried a basic iGPU, checked all RAM slots, and even reset the CMOS. It booted up fine when I exited BIOS, but once I rebooted, it just restarted empty. Every restart after that didn’t work. The CMOS battery remains unchanged. I think the motherboard is likely dead, though I’m planning to ask others before buying a new one. TLDR: PC only boots after resetting CMOS, but only once. All other attempts fail.
They mean displaying nothing isn't the same as not posting, especially if the video has issues. You're looking for post codes and details. It seems like a possible software update issue that doesn't require payment.
