Hello everyone, I bought a new PCIe Wi-Fi card for my PC because the USB adapter was losing connection. I placed it in one of my motherboards' 1x PCIe slots. Every time I start up, the computer briefly runs for a few seconds without any display output, then turns off and restarts about a second later, after which it boots normally. I can see the motherboard power cycling during bootups after installation, but not consistently every time. I’m worried these cycles might be harming my system or causing gradual damage.

I've observed this behavior. Turning off the PC at the plug socket or unplugging it after a shutdown causes it to restart immediately. However, leaving it plugged in doesn't trigger a power cycle upon the next boot.
