Hello! I'm just getting started with network stuff, so I asked straightforwardly: TL;DR – poor upload speed after switching to a bridge. My ISP router (Sagemcom 3890v3) gave me a decent connection, but my Asus RT-AC1900U only managed about half the speed. After resetting the Sagemcom, it worked fine. Now uploads are down 20 times. Is this typical with bridges, or is there something wrong?

You're seeing different speeds when using the AC1900 with the modem in router mode versus bridge mode. Have you experimented with direct hard wiring into the bridge modem and run a test?

The sagemcom is linked through a coaxial cable from the outside, and I have it in a bridge setup. Then I connected the ASUS via Ethernet to the sagemcom to access the internet.
