Hi to all,
I have the following problem with the connection of my laptop. When I start the laptop and connect to WIFI or LAN, all is fine.
But after some time (could be 10 minutes or 1 hour) I start to lose the connection. Sometimes I lose up and download speed and some time just the upload.
At the moment that the connection fades away, there is nothing downloading or updating. It happens also when the laptop is just on but not used.
I made a clean windows 10 installation, with just windows on it and Google Chrome. With other laptops I don't have problems. My laptop is a Acer Aspire A515-51G-5967. I have the latest drivers.
Kind regards,
Rob.

Consider adjusting network and sharing options, modifying adapter configurations, right-clicking your Wi-Fi adapter, selecting properties, making changes in the power management section, disabling automatic shutdown of Wi-Fi to conserve energy. Additionally, you might want to set Windows power settings to high performance.

I followed your suggestion Fix_that_Glitch. I'll check to see if there are any changes.

The laptop appears to be quite old. Perhaps swapping out the Wi-Fi card could extend its life.

The laptop was made in 2018. The issue only occurs with Wi-Fi, and it remains consistent when connected to LAN.
