GTX 1660ti 6gb with 512 ssd, 8gb ddr4 ram, I5 10300h 2.5 GHz, Windows 10 home
900 dollars is a fair price for these components for gaming?

I believe the $900 is fine. My PC matches yours in specifications—240GB SATA SSD, GTX1650 graphics, i5-10400F processor, and 16GB RAM valued at $700.

When checking laptops on sites like bestbuy, the prices seem similar. Buying components from pcpartpicker for a desktop would cost about 670 dollars, excluding a power supply and case. That suggests around 900 dollars could be reasonable.

You would experience significant enhancements compared to your i5 2500K without OC, with 380GB and 8GB of HyperX RAM.

$900 makes sense for this purchase. Laptops tend to cost significantly more than comparable desktops with similar specifications.

It would really help if you had a similar laptop with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. This would make a big difference for some games like COD: Warzone, which could use up to 15 GB of memory. With these specifications, the graphics performance would be about that of a GTX 1070, just a bit faster in newer titles. At around $900, it seems like a great deal.
