I can suggest budget-friendly laptops that include a warranty, capable of playing videos for at least four hours on batteries. They should either support Steam Play or run on Windows, so I can play older games if needed. For #2, I expect the battery life to be under four hours, and I’m open to refurbished or used options—lighter models are preferred.

I bought a refurbished Dell Latitude for 400CAD from Amazon last year, came with a fresh battery TB SSD, 16GB RAM, and an 8th Gen i7. Streaming my Steam library was smooth, and the battery lasted 7 to 10 hours during mixed browsing and YouTube use. Maybe something similar could work? Another advantage of such devices is the availability of affordable components, which are also simple to maintain.
