I'm considering boosting my 8320e's performance, wondering if a Cooler master GeminII M4 can handle it. I've heard some suggestions about the Hyper 212 EVO, but I have an aerocool GT case that's quite tight and doubt I'll fit it. The Gemini looks manageable in size, but I'm not sure if it will support overclocking.

A suitable alternative to CM 212 Evo offers shorter length, improved cooling, and lower cost.
Check the link for more details: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/...inder.html
This cooler is directly related to the amount of OC and should perform well up to 4.4 - 4.5GHz with that processor.

You're just a millimeter away from getting the Hyper 212 EVO.
Thermal right TRUE Spirit 120M
$37
Arctic freezer 13
$37
One option could fit you well.
Another choice is the Scythe Mugen 4, which measures 156.5mm, just under the 158 limit.
It's also nearer to $50

This assessment suggests it won't maintain an old i7 below 85ºC during operation, so consider not using the 8320e with this cooler.

What are your thoughts on the Cooler master hyper t4? It's not too costly and it should fit in your setup.
RaDiKaL_ :
Unlikely, based on this review, it won't maintain an old i7 below 85ºC while operating, so skip trying to cool your 8320e with this cooler:

Ok no gemini then
