I need a hardware expert to advise if a mini PC could replace your 2016 Alienware Alpha 2. I use it for streaming videos, browsing the web, and playing games that don’t need top-tier hardware. It’s becoming slower lately, so I’m thinking about upgrading with a mini PC but unsure how it would perform in gaming. The Alienware specs are: an Intel Core i7 6700T (2.2GHz, four threads), a Nvidia GTX 960 4GB GPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and a 500GB hard drive. Would this setup be a worthwhile upgrade?
