Advice on laptop battery replacement
Hello everyone,
My laptop has started to swell from the bottom, causing the base to separate, and I can even see the internal components. Additionally, the battery no longer holds a charge after hours of charging, suggesting a possible issue with it. Since I don’t know which battery type to replace, I’m asking if anyone could assist in identifying suitable replacement options. I would really appreciate your help.
Here’s the information I have gathered:
Laptop model: DELL Latitude 5289

Thank you very much in advance.
Swollen batteries present a fire hazard. Disconnect the laptop and cease usage right away. Iffixit offers a suitable replacement battery along with necessary tools if required.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, I can't purchase this product because shipping is limited to the US, and I reside in France.
I understand that paying a reasonable amount is acceptable as long as the quality meets expectations. If you have other options, I would greatly appreciate it.
