Advanced Warfare Code presents a frustrating experience.
I chose to purchase this year's Call of Duty release. It’s my first retail version on a PC (excluding the free COD Ghosts Weekends). The experience is divided into two sections: Call of Duty Advanced Warfare – Single Player and other content, and Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Multiplayer – Online Play and similar features. The frustrating part is that when I select multiplayer, it automatically restarts the base game. To exit, I have to wait for the multiplayer to finish before the base game loads, intro, and so on. Why does this happen? Is this typical for Call of Duty or other titles? I’m confused about why the base game must load first before I can truly quit.
On my system, you can simply exit the multiplayer without any problems.
Press quit to launch the main menu, after which you can choose yes or no. You also have the choice to exit the game, which will fully terminate it.
