Advanced processors on the horizon
Advanced processors on the horizon
Hello everyone. I'm just starting out here and wondering if the right way to address this is correct. Is it a question about what we might see next year from Intel and AMD compared to this year? Could there be small updates to the current designs before moving to ARM to compete with Apple's M1 chips? What are your thoughts?
I understand, but now they feel forced to hurry since Apple is dominating the basic Mac Air price market.
Most users, particularly in the USA, tend to prefer spending more on a MacBook over a Windows laptop when considering daily usage and battery life. The MacBook M1 provides strong build quality, performance, and battery efficiency compared to similar Windows models in lower price ranges. This makes people more likely to opt for a MacBook rather than a budget Windows laptop. In general, this is true. However, I'm not an expert and in my area many individuals can't afford a MacBook. It's more of a choice for flexibility than a necessity for professional tasks.
