Adjusts system clock to 2133Mhz

For a reason, my BIOS restricts me from adjusting RAM speeds beyond the standard 2133Mhz. Updating XMP settings or tweaking manually doesn’t work. This issue occurs on an MSI B450 Gaming Plus board.

I found a configuration that isn’t immediately obvious but could trigger the placebo response when adjusting RAM speed. It’s likely related to timing settings.

The placebo effect is when people experience real changes in their symptoms just because they believe a treatment will work, even if the treatment has no actual medical properties.

Uncertain if the spelling is correct, but it seems to come from a medical context where a drug is prescribed as effective, though it may not actually work.

XMP/DDR4-3000 compatibility issues with your motherboard and CPU. Adjust timing settings or lower the DRAM speed. Experienced with a friend's Ryzen setup using R7-3800X, Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro WiFi, and 16GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3000. The system struggled to boot, looping in Windows before reverting to 2133 MHz. Tried various configurations and ended up with DDR4-2666 instead.

Thanks for sharing! You changed the RAM order and checked both Task Manager and BIOS readings. The Task Manager says 1467Mhz (DDR2: 2934Mhz), while the BIOS still lists 2133Mhz. It’s a bit confusing—either way, it’s unusual.
