Hello everyone, I’m looking for some advice each time I adjust my RAM speed beyond the standard 2133MHz. My PC becomes very unstable, and sometimes I have to disconnect the battery from the motherboard just to get it to start. Here are my details: I use an ASRock B550M Pro4 motherboard with a 650W power supply. My processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 6-core, 3600MHz. I have a total of 32GB DDR4 RAM from Corsair Vengeance RGB, and a GTX 3060 XR gaming graphics card. I’ve tried XMP settings too, but the issue persists. What could I be missing?

The 4x8 dimms could affect stability. Turning on XMP and lowering speed to around 3466 might help improve it.

Do you have a laptop or PC? Also, the Ryzen 5 3600 only works with speeds up to 3200 MHz, but your RAM is 3600 MHz. You should turn on XMP and then adjust the RAM to 3200 MHz instead of 3600. Sometimes this isn't available, and you might have to settle for 2933 MHz, which usually functions fine.

I was referring to the battery on the motherboard. I turned on XMP, then lowered the RAM speed to 3200MHz and it appears to be functioning well. I'm currently testing it and it seems okay so far.
