I'm trying to achieve a consistent overclock for my 6850k at 4.4ghz. My current setup passes Intel BurnTest without issues, but after extended sessions in OCCT I encounter errors, especially at voltages around 1.29V and 1.285V. I'm looking for adjustments that could help stabilize the process. My motherboard is an Asus ROG Strix X99.

Check the current BIOS version, reset the memory settings to the standard level, and identify the available power supply.

Confirm that the voltage is adjusted. Avoid exceeding 1.35v continuously.

Ensure you're using the most recent BIOS, revert the memory speed to the default setting, and identify the available power supply.

Here are some things to consider:
1) Confirm you're using the most recent BIOS version.
2) Adjust the memory speed back to its standard setting.
3) Check the type of power supply you have.
My PSU is an EVGA Supernova 750 G2. I just updated my BIOS and my RAM is set to its default speed. I'll let my OCCT run again.

That's a very good quality PSU, so everything should be fine. You can now attempt another run; just hope it functions properly if not, you'll still have a small amount of stable voltage to work with.
