Adjusting the cursor position in the game significantly reduces my FPS...
I've been going through older games again, and one in particular is really challenging for me. When I move my cursor in Stronghold 2 (the Steam version), my FPS drops significantly—about two frames per second.
I've tried various fixes like uninstalling the driver for the Razer Naga Trinity, letting Microsoft install the default one, updating my GPU and motherboard drivers, switching to a different mouse (Corsair M65), running virus scans, and even using Steam in admin mode. None of these solutions have worked. It seems the game either started malfunctioning immediately or after roughly five minutes.
My system specs are an i9-9900k, 32GB RAM, and an RTX 2070. I'm not sure what to do next, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Is it just Stronghold? It looks like this game has some serious optimization issues.

Notice an odd problem. Attempt to turn off full screen optimization according to compatibility settings for the game's executable.

I adjusted my Nvidia drivers to version 457.30 and everything functions perfectly! Thank you for your assistance.
