First of all, don't rely on EA. I bought the Ultimate Edition of Command and Conquer on Origin, but it seems like I'll spend countless hours trying to fix it. "Time played: 1 hour." That's not working. I've spent an hour looking at a blank screen trying to tweak settings. Eventually, the game would start, but once I leave it alone for months, it only plays sound or stays completely black. After checking many tutorials and re-downloading the game repeatedly, I'm still stuck. If anyone has a helpful guide, that would be really useful.

Nope. For details, I've handled all compatibility checks and ini adjustments from the guide: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Command-Conquer...4#U4236614
