Adjusting programs to fill the entire screen
Adjusting programs to fill the entire screen
Hi everyone! I'm working a lot with video editing and think 1080p isn't enough for my screen needs. Right now, I don’t have the funds for a 1440p monitor, and I’m not sure if my PC can handle it. In gaming, it works fine, but for editing it would be a big help. Any idea if there’s a tool that lets other apps run in full-screen mode like the browser’s F11 option or the Mac taskbar? It would make things much smoother. Thanks! /Gammarik
When working on video editing, it seems your GPU should easily manage 1440p. I’m not aware of any specific software that fits your requirements. However, most video or image editing tasks include a fullscreen option, which might be what you need.
It seems there might be a possibility, though I'm hesitant right now. I plan to explore this later. So far, I haven't found any full-screen options in Premiere or After Effects. It could be that the feature isn't available yet, and I might need to search further.
I accidentally got Photoshop to fullscreen and since it's also from Adobe, I wondered if it works for those programs too. I don’t remember the exact shortcut I used, though I’m not sure because I haven’t tried it on purpose. For the GPU, check the manufacturer’s site—if it’s recent enough, it might support a 1440p display with a 1080p secondary screen. You could also ask in this forum; someone should know.
I just checked online, and the Photoshop shortcut is Tab, but it doesn’t appear to function in After Effects. I’ll post about this on the GPU forum later regarding display settings. Still, I’d appreciate any suggestions—please share if you know of a suitable program! Thanks ^^
