Hello,
Thank you for your assistance and for taking the time to review this. Initially, I purchased a gaming wireless mouse that fits perfectly in my hand – the ConnectIT Doodle 2. However, I encountered an issue.

Despite being designed for gaming, the mouse has a problem: it features a dedicated DPI button, but its DPI changes unexpectedly while playing. I contacted the manufacturer about this concern, and they informed me that there is another method to adjust DPI – by simultaneously pressing both the left and right buttons for three seconds. They also mentioned that their software does not support this feature and cannot be modified from their side.

The issue is clear: even when the combination should be held for three seconds, it doesn’t function as intended. For instance, during FPS gameplay, if I hold the right button for about ten seconds while aiming, every single left click alters the DPI.

I searched extensively online for solutions to disable this DPI change feature or completely turn it off. Unfortunately, nothing has worked for me so far. :/

Could anyone suggest a solution or provide guidance? Is there a way to disable this entirely in the device settings or elsewhere? I really appreciate your help and support!

It's disappointing when hardware fails due to software issues—it feels like a perfect mouse, almost. You might have to keep searching for one that works well with both software and hardware. It seems like a design problem with this particular mouse. My model has a similar look but isn't wireless; it's also more expensive. Check out this link: https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/rival-650-wireless. I don’t often use the DPI button.
