Adjusting custom icons for macOS 10.13.4 setup
Hello, I'm trying to personalize my 13"2016 nTB MacBook Pro with an external G-Drive. The drive is divided into three parts: the main volume shows the standard G-Drive logo, the secondary volume displays a Time Machine icon, and the third volume is an exFAT partition with the default orange Drive icon. My goal is to replace the generic exFAT partition’s icon with the Bootcamp Assistants logo. I’ve tried opening the appropriate PNG, using Cmd+I to select it, and then applying the change, but the preview still shows the default icon. I’ve also made custom icons and an iconset, yet they don’t appear correctly. I’ve granted read/write access to everyone, even those not listed initially. Sometimes when I paste a custom icon, the desktop preview updates to the generic version instead of the one I intended. Any suggestions would be helpful.
