Adjusted the text size, but icons remain in a distorted condition...
I adjusted the text scaling but didn’t like the result, so I went back to the original setting. Now the desktop icons are stuck, and there’s a strange selection frame. I restarted my PC, but it didn’t fix the issue. I’m frustrated with Windows 11...
Press the Start button, enter regedit and press Enter to launch the Registry Editor. Switch to View mode and verify the Address Bar is enabled. Paste the following into the Address Bar at the top and press Enter: HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics. In the right pane, adjust IconSpacing and VerticalIconSpacing to their respective default values (currently -1128). Close the Registry Editor and restart your PC (do not shut it down) to apply changes.
It seems like the process is functioning well. It's surprising how often we need to use RegEdit for basic changes. Microsoft definitely has its flaws. Thanks again!
