Hi everyone, I'm dealing with a Philips 220C 75Hz monitor that has a 1680x1050 resolution. The issue is I can't set the resolution to 75Hz for that size, but I can do it for 1440x900. Does anyone know a solution or is this a fixed problem? I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and using a CLR 3D Radeon R9 270 '14 series graphics card.
lower quality images may allow greater frequencies than higher ones.
its still a difference, if i could choose, i still would run 75 hz there is nothing you can do about it though.
In certain games you might prefer v-sync, and when the refresh rate hits 75 Hz it limits performance to 75 FPS rather than the usual 60. The variation isn't huge, but it's something you can't change
