Adjust your display settings to prevent unwanted window movements during gameplay on lower native resolution.
When I run a game at lower than native resolution on my main 4K screen, any window on my secondary monitor gets rescaled, shifts, or disappears completely, leaving only the wallpaper visible. How can I prevent this? I've already adjusted the scaling in my Nvidia drivers, but it didn't help. This issue isn't limited to any particular game—it happens whenever I play at sub-4K resolution.
The main screen is positioned on the right, with other displays to its left. This arrangement happens because when the main display shrinks below native resolution, coordinates shift, causing confusion. The grid’s starting point remains at the top-left of the primary screen, so items to the left stay unaffected by changes in the main display size.
This situation is quite frustrating. The configuration prevents the main screen from being positioned correctly on the right side.
