Currently I use 800 DPI and 1.95 sensitivity in Counter Strike: GO. Many pros play with much lower settings, so I’m curious if my current sensitivity is too high for precision. Since I just changed it, should I lower it before getting comfortable? Let me know your thoughts.

My settings are significantly higher than usual, but accuracy mainly depends on my skill. I use a 24500 dpi and 4.99 sensitivity, and since I'm a sniper, I should lower them for better results.

Focus on what works best for you. I don’t get it when they ask about sensitivity or DPI settings.

Explore the path of CS development and save it. It’s from an earlier era—around 1.6—but it remains useful for today’s FPS titles and CS:GO. A brief look at his achievements is available here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Kim

Your question about ranking is unclear. Could you clarify what you're referring to?

They still have positions in CS now? Yeah... it feels like a long time ago.
