I recently changed from using Mac exclusively to a more PC-focused setup. On macOS, I can set up BetterTouchTool to resize windows and move them with keyboard and mouse combinations. Hovering over a window while holding a specific key combo (like cmd+option+shift) lets me resize it by moving the mouse. A different key combo exists for moving the window when you use the mouse. Would it be possible to achieve something similar in Windows 10? I prefer an ultrawide monitor and find the built-in display manager limiting. I don’t mind using third-party tools and want more flexibility than fixed layouts.

Press Win-key plus arrows for simple shifting and sizing. Click once in the header to switch between full screen and hidden. Want more features? Consider Autohotkey.

I don’t think you understood what I was asking. I know about snapping and shortcuts. I’m describing a way to hold down a key combo and use a mouse to precisely move or resize a window.

Press Shift and click the program in the task bar, or right-click its icon on the title bar (if available) and choose "Size." The surrounding keys let you adjust the window size. This method was simpler in Windows 9x times, but now it's rarely needed since usage has faded.

I understand the suggestions, but the tool doesn’t seem to match what you need. For macOS, BetterTouchTool offers precise control over windows. For Windows, there isn’t a direct alternative that provides the same functionality.

Consider using AutoHotKey or a window manager. These options could suit your needs better than what’s available in DisplayFusion.

I'll review it later today and share my thoughts. This feature can really transform workflows for ultrawide users. Edit: I'm not great at searching, but this works fine for me to tweak. LogicalDRM appreciates the AHK suggestion. https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/scripts/..._(KDE).htm
