Adjust the volume settings in MPC-HC to increase dialogue clarity.
Laptop Aaa is linked to my TV. I began using PotPlayer on Aaa last year. The audio equalizer was turned on and it displayed a certain image. The enhancement level was set at 75%, which improved the sound of my movies and helped me clearly hear dialogue when the TV volume was between 9 and 11. My films use six-channel audio, and the TV speakers are stereo. I was satisfied with the audio until PotPlayer caused the laptop to freeze while watching a movie. I removed PotPlayer and installed MPC-HC from https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc instead. I activated its audio equalizer, which now shows a different result. The issue is that MPC-HC’s equalizer behaves differently than PotPlayer’s. I need to adjust the boost level to 150% and set the TV volume between 15 and 19 for better dialogue clarity, but it’s making music effects too loud compared to the dialogue. I’m unsure if changing the sound settings in MPC-HC will fix this. Also, would using a soundbar connected to my TV help? My TV speakers have become distorted, producing static noises in certain scenes across multiple movies. This seems linked to their inability to handle those audio frequencies. It happened when I was at 75% boost and the volume around 15, but after switching to MPC-HC at 150% with volume under 10, the speakers stopped resonating and the static disappeared. Why did this change occur?
