Adjust the steering wheel settings in Euro Truck Simulator to reduce twitchiness.
I've already reduced the sensitivity to its lowest setting possible, though it remains quite sensitive. Driving feels awkward, and parking is even more frustrating because it takes a long time to maneuver back. Apologies for the brief introduction—I'm in the middle of a mission and need more details if you have them. EDIT: I also want my brake pedal less responsive; I prefer a firmer touch, and the game tends to stop me too quickly if I don't adjust it properly.
I increased the steering responsiveness so the wheel requires less turning, and did the same for braking sensitivity. Probably I'm the one who makes those 1500hp modifications just to handle the slow traffic on both sides. Edit: not sure why I mentioned the op.
It's tough to keep up with the pace. I've led to three incidents within fifteen minutes.
Consider checking the wheel drivers and see if adjustments are possible there. Experiment with brake settings in the gameplay menu. Which wheel do you use? It's much more challenging to drive with a 450-degree steering wheel compared to a full 900-degree one.
