Your Download and Document folders are now on a different drive. The HDD appears to be damaged, but the issue isn't related to the drive failure. To switch the folder locations, you’ll need to adjust the settings in File Explorer or PowerShell. Let me know if you’d like step-by-step instructions.

I began this in WinXP and think you need the real folder access to edit... after that I haven't lost the drive, so it's unclear if Windows 7 or 10 altered the process.

I began this in WinXP and think you need direct access to the folder to edit it. Since then I haven’t lost the drive, so I’m unsure if Windows 7 or 10 altered the process. EDIT: Downloads indicate it should be editable via your browser.

You can simply right-click the downloads library icon, choose properties, and adjust the location.

When they're in the car that OP can't see, it's not possible.

They appear in the quick access area beside the window, don't they? You can open File Explorer Options and find a "Show libraries" choice. Just enter "Libraries" into the address bar.

I briefly glanced at the section regarding the inability to right-click.
