Previously I relied on keyboard controls like pause/unpause and next track while using Chrome alongside Spotify. Now Chrome automatically takes precedence even when no video or audio is playing. To force Spotify to be the top choice, you’ll need to manually adjust its priority—either by clicking the highlighted area or disabling the feature entirely for Chrome.
The keyboard media control manages the currently playing video or music player. Pause and resume Spotify, and now your keyboard media keys function within Chrome.
