I have a Ryzen 5900X and its power consumption is currently around 140W. After testing at -30°C with PBO, it's stable. You want to cap its draw at 100W by manually adjusting the PPT settings, aiming for a negative curve between 10-15. Start testing until stability is achieved, but you're unsure about the right TDC and EDC values.
No need to adjust EDC or TDC values. When the CPU hits the PPT threshold, it will automatically control the current.
You can simply leave them at zero. It could mean automatic or maximum, though I’m not completely sure which one it is. It seems likely that reducing the PPT to 25 or below might lead to instability, but staying within a reasonable range (60 or above) should be okay. The Ryzen 9 5900 (non X) functions identically to the 5900X except for a lower boost clock and a default PPT of 88.
