You have 8GB of 2666MHz RAM, but Task Manager shows a speed of 1333MHz. To adjust this, you may need to enter BIOS settings to change the memory clock speed. It’s not something you should do without proper knowledge.

Task manager is displaying MHz instead of MT/s for RAM speed; 2666 isn't really MHz but MT/s (megatransfers per second). Because of Double Data Rate, it can be read from both ends of the clock cycle.

It's functioning properly. DDR refers to dual data rate. The numbers you see in a program for performance (such as 1333Mhz) multiplied by two equals the RAM speed indicated by the manufacturer. You likely have XMP/XAMP/DOCP enabled in the motherboard BIOS.
