I disabled DSR in the NVIDIA control panel and it worked, though it still feels confusing.

there are countless reasons someone might choose borderless. I often receive many alerts, but I find the borderless interface helpful. I believe using what feels right for me is best, and I wonder why others don’t adopt it.

you got the message wrong, i didn't use that feature before. i only tried it once during gforece and turned it off. even at 1980x1080, it still behaves poorly in borderless. i had to disable all dsr settings globally to fix it, but now it's not working anymore. it was fine until i used it in gforce, that's really frustrating.
