There seems to be no straightforward way to adjust the speed of the chipset fan directly through standard BIOS or software tools. You might need to explore advanced BIOS settings, third-party firmware, or hardware modifications to achieve finer control. The loud noise and inconsistent temperature readings suggest potential thermal management issues that could benefit from a more detailed diagnostic approach.

Hi, I've been searching for the appropriate forum for this issue for a while now and haven't found a clear solution. I own a Medion gaming laptop (Eraser P 15805) that originally came with Control Center 3.0 pre-installed, which allowed me to adjust fan speed, power modes, and RGB settings on the keyboard—all functioning perfectly until about four days ago. After that, controlling power modes or the keyboard's RGB changed. I attempted a reset using Windows Settings, but the problem persisted. The tricky part came when I thought it might be an app from the Microsoft Store; I tried uninstalling it with CCleaner, which removed it but opened a PowerShell window and disappeared Control Center. When I re-downloaded it from the Microsoft Store, everything worked fine. However, opening the app now shows "OSD only" in a small window, and pressing the icon doesn't work at all. Restarting the laptop still triggers the same message. Right now I have a blue backlit keyboard and can't adjust power modes or fan speed, which is frustrating because I want to keep silent mode active for gaming in the living room. I really value any assistance and appreciate any helpful videos you can share. Thank you very much!
