You're trying to boost your Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II's performance by running it at 3600MHz RAM instead of the default 3200MHz. This involves checking compatibility, updating BIOS, and ensuring proper cooling for higher speeds.

The processor is the main constraint for RAM overclocking, not the motherboard. A 2000 series Ryzen may have trouble reaching RAM speeds above 3000-3200MHz, while a 3000 series model can more easily hit 3600MHz.

Do you have 2 dimms rated to 3600 Mhz? if so make sure they are slotted in slot #2 and 4 from the CPU socket. Then go in bios and go in advanced memory profile. You should have the abiliy to manually set your memory there. Note that this is an overclock, your results may vary. Overclock at your own risk.
