Hey there! You're starting from scratch with overclocking, which is awesome. Your new RAM comes in a V-Color Skywalker Plus 64GB package at 4400MHz, which is a big jump from your current setup. Your MSI B450 Gaming Plus supports only up to 3466MHz, so you're looking at a solid upgrade path. I wasn't sure if more seasoned overclockers would suggest timing tweaks beyond XMP, but I think adjusting the timing could help you hit closer to 3466MHz without breaking the bank. A 3200MHz setting might give you a better balance between stability and performance compared to cranking it all the way up. Oh the reason why is because by default, it's just setting it to 2666, but there's obviously room for more there on this mobo.

For Ryzen 3000 chips, the ideal FCLK range is around 1800-1900MHz, so target frequencies between 3600 and 3800MHz based on CPU quality. The B450 Gaming Plus can handle that with Ryzen 3000, though it's still a possibility. For timing options, use Hynix DJR memory, typically found in 3600 CL16-39 configurations. If you prefer not to adjust timings manually, set tCL, tRCD, tRP, and tRAS to 16-19-19-39.
