When I started playing Fortnite on my PC, after a short time exploring the shop and new modes, I noticed some performance issues. At first, I dismissed them, thinking maybe the recent updates were causing the slowdown. However, once I switched to R6S and entered the map, the issue persisted. Now I’m experiencing around 85-90 frames per second instead of the usual 144+ before. I’ve played for nearly 100 hours, always using Ultra settings, and haven’t noticed any unusual behavior. Despite having built my PC two months ago, there’s no sign of dust buildup or overheating. The vibration from walking doesn’t seem to affect it. My hardware specs are an EVGA GeForce 1070 SC, i5 8600K, 16GB RAM. I’m unsure if more details are needed for the problem. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
