Hello, your question about the RE2 remake is interesting. I've noticed you're using a 3900x/3090 display at 1440p with max settings. Despite adjusting everything—from resolution to VSync, FPS at 165Hz, and variable rate—I still only get around 130 FPS. Even after reinstalling the game and updating drivers, the issue persists. Others on similar systems report higher FPS, while other titles run smoothly. Have you encountered this problem before? What steps might help improve your performance? Thank you for sharing your experience.

It's understandable you're concerned about the frame rate, but with a smooth 125-130 fps you're already in a great range. Once it hits 60-70 and drops into the low 100s, it becomes nearly impossible to notice the difference. Just go with 130 and enjoy the experience!

It's all fine, just making sure a product works as expected compared to others with similar specifications. If you have a Ferrari that accelerates from 0 to 100 in just 3 seconds while everyone else takes about 2 seconds, it bothers me. I discovered the reason it's stuck at 130 because the game limits FPS when you're playing with a controller, but once you take it off, it resets to the cap. I hope Capcom addresses this issue. This should help anyone looking into this.

It's unusual to hear that the controller limits frame rate...that seems strange.
