I possess a Dell Inspiron 16 5620 and it tends to get quite warm. Because it draws air from below and pushes it upward for cooling, the keyboard becomes very hot—almost too intense to handle. I searched online for ways to adjust the fan speed manually but found nothing useful. Even third-party tools like MSI Afterburner or Argus Monitor don’t seem to work. The fan settings in these apps are completely disabled. Can someone assist me with this issue?

These controls are typically secured and require either a potentiometer or firmware management to operate.

I’m not sure, but you can check the official documentation or contact support for detailed guides.

Speedfan could possibly help, though I'm not sure. Adjusting fans on non-gaming laptops isn't actually supported.
