I'm not entirely clear on the full picture you're aiming for. It seems the slowdowns aren't coming from your Windows host or NIC settings. The connection pausing shouldn't be the main issue. If it's an HDD, spinning down could cause delays. Also, spinning rust usually doesn't hit that speed. Linus relies on 10G NICs since the server uses NVMe SSDs. I don’t think your configuration is that extreme... So if my understanding is right** You can boost performance by adding caching and ensuring disks stay awake. But it may not reach your full goals.

Settings like Buffer Size or offload options should be adjusted accordingly. What values would work best? I've noticed people often focus on NIC optimization but forget the specific settings needed.
