Gathered all components together carefully, double-checked connections, used multiple monitors. The motherboard’s RGB lights are active but the BIOS won’t boot. I only connected the CPU and ignored the rest. It’s an 8-core 4-core processor, but according to the manual it should boot even with minimal power. As a first-time builder, I’m confused about what might be wrong and don’t know where to start troubleshooting. The lights aren’t showing any specific error codes—just normal RGB. I’m feeling frustrated and lost, no idea how to fix this CPU. I’m hoping the sleep test will help if you think it might.

It actually should be compatible with the TUF Gaming B760 Plus Wi-Fi motherboard. However, it's confirmed to be a DDR4 model.

Reviewed the manual which specifies DDR5 support plus 13th generation; attempted steps 1 through 4 as described but none resolved the issue. Considering alternatives—could purchase a different memory module to see if that resolves the problem. For troubleshooting the PSU, I tried connecting an old hard drive, but it failed to spin and didn’t power up. The fact that the motherboard lights up suggests some power is reaching the system, though it’s unclear if this is normal. If nothing reaches the keyboard, mouse, monitor, or fan, the situation remains frustrating.
