yeah, definitely going to do that soon, just wondered if there was a way to do this with software until I can do that, as my monitor has broken and all available PC money is going towards a new one.

I located the model without the light strip, though some claim the connections are all wrong! One person received two units and found the wiring wasn't set up correctly—RGB instead of proper color channels. Another suggestion is to turn off the PSU switch, which isn’t ideal. This setup could work for you if you follow these links: one for a Leviton 3-wire switch, another for a Belkin 3-prong outlet switch, and a third for an extension outlet switch that connects to your PC power cord. Place it near your desk for convenience. Once done, simply flip the switch to turn off the LED.

Hi, I faced the same issue and found a fix by disabling Windows Fast Startup. Even though the thread is about six years old, I thought it might still be useful. I’m new here, so any tips would be appreciated!
