Adjust Asus Tuf X570 RAM to 3600MHz settings
I can't run DCOP on the motherboard as it causes extreme instability. The RAM calculator isn’t working either. How can I safely lower my RAM to 3400 in this setup? I have four 8GB Trident Z Neo sticks and a Ryzen 3900X.
Hi there! Could you let me know which RAM model you're interested in? Also, confirm if your system runs the most recent BIOS update. Lastly, when did you buy the motherboard?
Consider updating your bio if you haven’t already. Experienced problems with the TUF X570 using the Trident Z Neo 3600 kit until I updated the BIOS.
I have only a small amount of practical experience with the board, and it ran an older BIOS version. The sticks I used were similar in speed and timing but not in capacity. I struggled to keep the board stable above 3400 MHz. To run them at 3400 MHz, you need to adjust that setting in the BIOS after enabling DOCP. When the display shows 3600, you can use the mouse or a key to modify it.
I've been testing the stock 2133MHz default and still encounter freezes while gaming. I'm unsure which part is causing the issue—CPU, motherboard, or power supply. I've checked temperatures, RAM, and drivers, but it seems to be related to one of those components.
