Adhesive pins stuck to the motherboard
Adhesive pins stuck to the motherboard
I purchased a used motherboard and, of course, it arrived without a protective cover for the socket. The seller declined to issue a full refund, so I decided to give it a shot myself. Here are the before and after photos. Do you think it can still function without damaging my 9900kf? It's an Aorus Master Z390 board. I checked the pin layout on the bottom row, and most of the pins are VCC and IGPNU, which appear to be bent or broken.
Thanks, it was roughly an hour. Most of the pins were easy enough to repair, though the lower section was almost impossible—just twisted beyond fixing.
Yes, you can check which pin each component serves. We also have details about AM4 connectors.
