None of the games I've played ever ran on just one processor core. On my system, another core always kicks in, pushing my clock down to 4,65ghz. The only way to consistently get the advertised 5.1ghz is by using Throttlestop (from a thread I shared) to lock a single core during benchmarking. All other tasks cause the clock to slow down.
