Addressing W10 update problems is easier with W2000.
I checked the guidance there: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...components. I restarted my PC several times, tried adjusting some registry settings linked to Windows updates, and used the built-in Windows Update troubleshooter multiple times, but nothing worked. I’m currently running Windows 10 version V1607, which is quite old. I’m attempting to upgrade to Windows 1703, but I keep encountering an error saying the update restarts itself but gets stuck during installation. I don’t want to refresh updates or perform a hard reset. I’ve already tried that before, especially since I work with many audio plugins and need everything stable. Here are the troubleshooter results—I hope this helps. Please assist me, thank you. asddddd.pdf
I also enjoy the W2000. Open the command prompt (make sure you run it with admin privileges), then input chkdsk /r /f and hit enter. You might need to restart your system for the scan to begin, but Windows will notify you.
Let me guess, you upgraded to windows 10 from a previous OS? Here's your fix. https://www.howtogeek.com/224342/how-to-...indows-10/
Completed chkdsk and sfc scans successfully, no errors detected. Still looking for ways to improve system health.
Consider a complete reset by installing Windows 10 with the Windows Media Creation Tool on an 8GB flash drive. Clear all existing partitions, then repartition and format the drive. This should resolve the issue.
I performed a fresh installation of Windows while setting up my SSD. That means it should match what you got from a clean install. Should I go ahead with a recovery update? I haven’t tried it yet.
System check started at the beginning. All tests finished successfully. Windows Resource Protection confirmed no integrity issues. Task completed without problems.
