I increased the CPU speed to 3.9 on the stock cooler using a voltage of 1.2875, and it stayed stable. After a few days of stress testing, it reached about 85°C during peak load, which is not uncommon for a gamer. Is this level acceptable? Should I lower the voltage or overclock limit a bit? I'm not very experienced with CPU temperatures.
Safe for Ryzen, though it's a bit warm for my taste. Are you checking temperatures using Ryzen Master?
Completely compatible with Ryzen Master. The software I utilized was Cinebench and Prime95.
I think you can reduce the original volume if you prefer higher temperatures, or switch to a more effective cooler. The standard cooler is quite solid, but it isn't really designed for high OC rates.
This would be an affordable alternative that works well (it did for me) and also looks decent.
