I have 2,108,000 seconds in my system but I configured it on NVIDIA to pick the 970 for physics work. It seems Runescape isn’t running well on the Ubuntu VM due to insufficient GPU power, though I’ll keep using my current setup despite the hassle. I’m connecting to one of my servers with Splashtop and playing that way. I stick only to official tools, though it’s a bit risky... Thanks!

I've utilized it previously and it functions well. It's open source and has been available since 2012. If it posed a threat, it should have been removed from GitHub already.
